Description
The Orchestre à cordes de la Garde républicaine was created in 1947 at the request of President Vincent Auriol, himself an amateur violinist. The Orchestre à cordes is available in configurations of 24 or 12 bows, or as a string quartet. Destined to serve the Élysée Palace, the Orchestre à cordes de la Garde républicaine has established itself as a benchmark in the musical world. It also performs regularly outside official occasions, at festivals and concert halls.
