The doors of the Carolingian Oratory are open for you in Germigny des Prés. It is a result of Theodulfe’s work, the great adviser of Charlemagne. The oratory is one of the oldest churches in France, dated from 806, well known for its remarkable mosaic, Byzantine inspired. Get ready for the visit !

The oratory is open all year, from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm from april to september and from 10 am to 5 pm from october to march. Visits are however prohibited during ceremonies and cultural events (as concerts during summer).

Guided visits are open for all, in french, according to the program.

- July and August : each wednesday, saturday and sunday at 2.30 pm / 3.30 pm / 4.30 pm, except on sunday July the 2, 9, 16, 23 : at 10.30 am or 11.30 am
On the 16th and 17th of September, we celebrate the European Heritage Days. During this week-end, the Tourist Office and “Communauté de communes du Val de Sully” build a special program for all the 19 city and villages of our territory.
