Description
- by the Val de Sully Tourist Office - "In 1608, a band of brigands is rampaging along the Loire! They particularly target the agents of the kingdom... So much so that Sully, superintendent of finances, was obliged to use his castle to store tax revenues. A river convoy of gabelous is charged with bringing a chest of gabelle revenues to the castle... but the chest never arrives!... The boat did dock, but after a sudden and violent flood, the chief of the gabelous was found dead in a house in the rue du Bout du monde, near the castle, but without any trace of the treasure..."
